Kruger National Park

Your hunting safari at Motshwere Safaris & Outfitters can now be combined with a visit to the Kruger National Park to enhance your African experience. It covers an area of 19,623 km2 (7,576 sq mi) in the provinces of Limpopo and Mpumalanga in northeastern South Africa.

Africa Cat Sanctuary

Motshwere Safaris & Outfitters is home to three of these seven species of "Big Cats", namely the lion, leopard, and cheetah. You can get to know these African cats up close, in their natural habitats, at Mothswere Safaris & Outfitters. The best place to get the full experience and take some really good photos.

Photography safaris are not just seeking for perfection, but we at Motshwere Safaris & Outfitters, aim to capture the moment. Along with patience comes the understanding of our environment and surroundings. The African sunset will provide some unique photo opportunities!

Plains Game

Plains game species that can be hunted in the countries of Southern Africa range from the tiny Steenbok to the mighty Eland. Eland being the biggest antelope in Southern Africa. The Steenbok is part of the tiny 10 and resemble small oribi, standing 45–60 cm (16"–24") at the shoulder, and weigh 7-16 kg.

The Big Five

In Africa, the Big Five game animals are lion, leopard, rhinoceros (both south-central black and southern white species), elephant, and Cape Buffalo. The term was coined by big-game hunters and refers to the five most difficult animals in Africa to hunt on foot but is now also widely used by safari tour operators.
